Commitment Band Workshop

This private workshop is a hands-on way to create your wedding bands from start to finish. Together, we’ll saw, form, solder, and finish your rings in a quiet, focused session at the studio. It’s time set aside to slow down, work with your hands, and make something personal and lasting.

Before your workshop, we’ll go over your preferences for materials, shape, width, and any simple design details so everything is ready when you arrive. Pricing depends on ring size, width, and current gold prices. A materials deposit is collected when you book your date, and studio time is $60 per person, per hour, charged after your session.

If you’re ready to create your bands, start by filling out the form below. Share your ring sizes, design preferences, and timing, and I’ll get back to you with details on materials, pricing, and booking your session.

Material Options

  • Sterling Silver

An affordable and strong material suitable for everyday wear. Silver will oxidize and show wear over time, but it’s easy to bring back to a polish.

  • 14K Yellow Gold

Warm and timeless, yellow gold has a rich glow and classic feel. It’s a durable choice that ages beautifully and holds up well to everyday wear.

  • 14K Rose Gold

A coppery, blush-toned material, rose gold has a bit more warmth and softness in color and looks especially beautiful with satin or hammered textures.

  • 14K White Gold

White gold has a cooler tone than silver with a slightly grayer cast. It’s important to test for allergies for nickel prior to working in white gold.

Ring Band Profiles

  • Round

A soft, fully curved ring with no flat edges. Usually used for dainty widths. Feels smooth and minimal.

  • Domed

A gently rounded surface with flat sides. It sits a little taller and feels sculptural. What most people think of as a classic wedding band shape.

  • Flat

Straight across the top, with squared or slightly softened edges. Clean, simple, and modern.

Ring Band Widths

  • Dainty (1.5–2.5mm)

Light and minimal. Works well for stacking or pairing with an engagement ring. Best suited for round or half-round shapes.

  • Medium (2.5–4mm)

A balanced width that feels substantial without being bulky. This is a common choice for wedding bands and works well with all profiles.

  • Wide (4.5–6mm)

Bold and more noticeable on the hand. Offers more surface area for textures or finishes. Only certain profiles are available at this width.

Additional Styles

  • Chevron Band

A pointed shape that stacks nicely with an engagement ring.

  • Saddle Band

A soft arch that curves around another ring or setting.

  • Hammered Band

A texture applied to the surface by hand. It can be subtle or more pronounced depending on the hammer used.
