ProcesS
How It’s Made
Every piece of jewelry at Laurel & Co. is made by hand—no mass production, just traditional metalsmithing with a lot of care and intention. I work primarily with brass, copper, sterling silver, and 14K gold, sawing, soldering and finishing each piece right here in my Denver studio, Fleur.
I prioritize ethically sourced and American-mined stones and materials, always aiming to create jewelry that not only looks good but feels good to wear. My signature green-blue patina on brass has become a favorite, bringing out the warmth and texture of the metal in a way that makes each piece one-of-a-kind.
Most of my work is hand-fabricated, meaning it starts as raw metal that I saw, solder, hammer, and shape into something beautiful. I’m also beginning to incorporate casting into my process, which allows me to explore new techniques in jewelry fabrication.
Made to Last
Jewelry should be worn, lived in, and passed down—it’s meant to become part of your story. That’s why I focus on quality, durability, and timeless design, creating pieces that are built to be loved for years to come.
